We have expert reviewers in all fields of medicine.

We perform utilization management reviews, independent reviews and grievance panel appeals addressing medical necessity, experimental/investigational questions, standard of care, pre-authorizations, hospital admissions, length of stay, level of care, disability, and workman’s compensation.

All reviews are performed on a patient-specific basis by an expert medical practitioner of the same or similar specialty as that of the treating practitioner and disease process. The review methodology employed may be evidence based, criteria based, opinion only, or benefit coverage.

When we receive a case in your specialty, we assign it to you by sending you an email. You would then answer the questions asked and return them with encrypted email in the requested turn around time. We reimburse you based on the time allocated to the case with more complex and lengthy cases being allocated more time.

Many of our experts are leaders in their fields and/or at academic centers. We have cutting edge cases with rare diseases and more routine cases and treatment issues.

There is no liability to you as reflected in section 4202.010 of the Texas Insurance code. iMedReviews is certified by the Texas Department of Insurance.
